When I start a quilt I usually find fabrics I like together and then figure out my backing later. This quilt went in the reverse. I had this cute transportation flannel but I didn't have any ideas.
I decided to go with half square triangles in solids.
It turned out to be perfect for a little boy.
I think I will try using up some of my other fabrics this way as well. I am linking up over at here.

That flannel is adorable! And I really like the random HSTs. Awesome quilt for a little boy :)
I love the HST - wonderful colors for a boy, I know my son would love it :-)
