I finally finished this top on Thursday. I used almost all of my selvages which makes me happy. I like making something from what most throw away.
I saw this tutorial and knew I wanted to eventually make one.
Now to decide on the backing and quilting.
I will be linking up over here. Have a great weekend!

I love it!!
Wow! I really like this a LOT! I might have to start keeping my selvages...
I adore spiderwebs and even better with selvages. And I love the background fabric you used.
I don't cut off my selvages in strips like this, but quilts like this make me wish I did.
Yep. I'm glad I'm saving my selvages. This is an incredible quilt! I think you chose a great background color; it's a great non-white neutral.
I am so very impressed! This is beautiful.
What a fantastic quilt. It must have taken a long time to make, but is so beautiful it was definitely worth it!
Beautiful use of selvedges. This is pretty awesome. I am pretty inspired to start saving selvedges now.
I want to make one of these some day too! Lovely way to use up the 'throw-aways'.:)

I am here after hearing about the Stitched in Colour Festival and love this hexi twist, as it were!

Love all your selvages. This is such a great use for them. Beautiful!
Using selvedges is something I always admire. Well done!
Found you through the Stitched in Color String Festival (though I'm late getting here) and wanted to complement you for the very pretty quilt. I really love the mix of color and the selvages.
