I feel very privileged that Mary trusted me to cut up her precious running shirts so I could make her a quilt. She started running when she was 50 and loved it!
Her favorite colors are dark green, navy blue, and burgundy. I went for the solids so that the t-shirts could be the star. I have been putting my new machine to good use and even quilted it on my machine.
She is currently struggling in her fight with cancer. Mary is simply amazing and I am very grateful to know her. If you want to learn more about Mary check out her blog here.

That quilt is an awesome labor of love! You are an awesome person to do something like this for another, esp when in a fight for their life. Hope all goes well for Mary.
