Modern Man

A while back I made some blocks with green, black, and grey. Most of the fabrics reminded me of manly fabric (no flowers).
I made each square a different size and then framed them alternating with grey or black.
I went for a straight solid binding this time and think it worked out great with the modern look I was going for.
I am also getting ready for a boutique next week and have been making lots of things to get ready. These coasters are just a sample of what I have made. I put them in sets of four and tied them up with bakers twine. I will be linking up again over at crazymomquilts.

Love the quilt! I'm always looking for a manlier quilt so I can make things for my nephews and this is perfect!

I was totally thinking about making coasters as Christmas gifts this year - smar-t pants.
