Take Along

I finally used one of these wonky blocks I had around. I thought this would make a nice center piece for a take along blanket. This was my first try at one. I think it will make a great gift.
After my niece had this great minky from Joann's on her quilt I bought a yard just for little quilts like this.
A little hand quilting. I love this kind of stuff when I want to keep my hands busy and relax.
I also finished my selvedge edge quilt. I have even seen selvedges being sold by the bundle online if you don't have any. Do you save your selvedges? I think I have enough to make another one of these.
Here are my most recent selvedges for a new quilt top I just started.

So cute! I love the wienie dog! I collect selvages, too. I'm getting reading to make a little zipper bag with some of them.

The minky looks so soft...what an awesome blankie to have to comfort a little one!

And...the selvage quilt is just amazing! I save all mine for my friend's hope to make one!

Have a great week!

Seriously, you are so fast! How do you get all of this stuff done??? I love the hand stitching on your take along. And that selvedge edge quilt is soooo cute! I don't save my edges but I guess I should!
